When should Home Health care be considered ?
When asistance is needed with some or all the normal activities of day to day living .This may include such things as regular hygiene, housekeeping, cooking, shopping or even walking safely without assistance. The inability to cope with these activities may be due to a need for home recovery resulting from the recent surgery of illness. Alternatively, it may be neecessary if a family is unable to cope with an increse in forgetfulness on the part of a loved one that might prove dangerous beacause of such things as medications improperly taken or stove burners being left on.

Can we really receive the care we need in our home ?
Absolutely. The fact is, the level of care is usually higher than that of institutional long-term care solution. Care provided to an individual on one-one-one basis is by its very nature far more encompassing, responding to not only to specific physical need, but also providing much needed companionship.

How do I arrange for Home Health services ?
Start with a telephone call at anytime and one of our Staff will answer you. We will listen carefully to your requirements, explain our services and then outline the next step to take. Depending on the depth of service required, this may include a brief assessment of the individual to be cared for so that we can recommend an appropriate level of care.

Is Home Health Care expensive ?
Home Health care costs vary greatly on a case to case basis, but generally they are substantially lower than other alternative long-term care. In addition, costs may be covered by private insurance and home health care is billed strickly on the basis of usage. We have very competitive rates for all of our services.

What payment options do I have ?
We will verify any insurance coverage first. For services not covered by insurance, we will bill the responsible part bi-weekly. Invoices are due upon receipt.

What type of services do you offer ?
We offer skilled nurse (registered nurse) to provide you with medical care and home health aides who will provide you with the non –medical care with the Nurse supervision.

What makes your Caregivers different ?
All of our Caregivers have passed a detailed screening process. Our employes are selected based on a high degree of demonstrated professional competence and retained according to specific hiring procedures and policies, not to mention their extreme reliability, knowledge and skills.

Are your services limited to seniors?
We provide services to senior as well as persons with disabilities, home recovering after hospitalization and others.

Are your services available in retirement communities, assisted living facilities or nursing homes?
Yes, we will assist you anywhere you are: in your home, at the hospital, at the Retirement community or wherever you need it.

How soon can you start services?
We provide care 24 hours a day /7 days a week  and so with your calls. As soon as we fully assessed your needs, an appropriate Caregiver will be refered to you immediately. We frequently can begin services on  the same day of referral when circumstances allow.

Are your employees bonded and insured ?
Our agency hold professional and general liability policies on all staff.

What is your service area ?
We cover the whole peninsula area, Sta. Clara County, San Francisco, East Bay (Alameda County &  Contra Costa) and  Marin County.

What if I need help after office hours ?
We have a term who will assist you 24 hours a day.
